Re: wavestuff - collection - new gets on pg 10

Thanks for sharing.

I recommend taking photos in daylight/hours for better and more precise lighting.
You can also tweak the whitebalance of the photos in post-processing.

It's always a shame when such nice and colorful figures are not able to express their real colors. :)

Re: wavestuff - collection - new gets on pg 10

groovy thanks for your pointers. with these particular pictures i was trying to go for a silhouette look but i definitely agree in punching up the colors more so it doesnt have that washed out look. my camera is a little polaroid so unfortunately it can only do so much haha.

Re: wavestuff - collection - new gets on pg 10

Hehe, okay.

You can try and play with contrast levels to obtain a better silhouette effect. :)
Now I have no clue what programmes you have at your disposal. But often you can make it far with the simplest tools. The most important part is the "idea" and a heck of a determination. :)

Re: wavestuff - collection - new gets on pg 10

thank you fellas this figure is really really nice for its size.

Colossus, this mazinger figure has 14 points of articulation

2 x ball shoulder joints
2 x rotating and bending elbow joints
2 x wrist rotating and limited bending joints
2 x hip joints
2 x rotating and bending knee joints
2 x rotating and bending ankle joints
1 x very limited waist joing
1 x rotating neck joint w/ no up or down movement on the head

the head and 80% of the body are die cast. the hands, feet, chest plate, and piedler as well as the joint connections are plastic

Very Cool; Wave, so you have many options for poses

Re: wavestuff - collection - new gets on pg 10

forgot to mention the wings are plastic and detachable, as far as poses go you get you have a nice broad selection, he can do the regan spider walk, he can stand on one foot, he's very dynamic. obviously some of the more dynamic poses require him to remove the wings. if i get a chance at purchasing the other ones im definitely getting them.
