Frankly i find it funny that somebody would make any transaction with somebody who joined this board 1 month ago and has no posts or feedback.

How can a guy list stuff for sale if he's only been on here a month? There's a 3 month waiting period.

he contacted me saying he had a dx batman for sale as i had posted that i wanted one, after a few emails back and forth and a price decided on he asked me to gift him the payment to avoid the fees, as he had so few posts and no feedback i said that i didnt feel comfortable doing it as a gift but seeing as the price was fair if he wanted to send me a request for payment with an extra $30 added to cover the fees i would be fine with that.
he said no to this as he had been ripped off by some one who had payed him he'd posted the item and then they had called the money back. so a gift was all he would accept.
at this point i said good luck with your sales but i wont be buying, sounded far too fishy to me.

P.S. this happened this weekend

I believe it has to do with how long they have been a member now... someone correct me if I am mistaken.

Anyone can post and read the WTB/Trade section, it is the FS/T section that is restricted.

And yes, there is a minimum post count and time period required before you can post in FS/T.
