I'm familiar with it but I don't care for it. Too much artistic license. I don't like how he puts designs in the clothes and such. I almost bought the 7 Dwarfs on the log of his, but I just couldn't get past them wearing paisly shirts. However, I do have his "Crossing the Delaware" piece and I think its nice. The designs are only on the base. I like the rustic carved from wood look.

exactly. and i just want to have that Pinocchio :chew it's probably the best piece. and yeah.. i do think the Jim Shore line deserves its own thread :)

Love the Brer Fox/Rabbit piece - I remember seeing the movie once as a child need to look on the bay for one of those bootlegs as I would love to see that movie again

I got these for half off when they started selling them at TJ Maxx

Really? TJ Maxx? Did they have anymore to select from?

I saw that the Disney Movie Rewards Program added a few WDCC pieces from the Mickey Mouse Club set including Bandleader Mickey and Minnie, Donald with the Gong, and Pluto on the drum.

They did a LOOOOOONG time ago. Like months ago. It was crazy but a lot of them eventually got separated from their box, started missing the certificate of authenticity, etc. I got lucky with those two and I never found others after that.

The king has arrived!!! :hi5:

Here he is hanging out with the rest of my Jungle Book display:

This is the first piece of bought in YEARS right off the bat... and was worth it. It was $150 with an edtion size of 750... which I think is rather small.

Most of my purchases recently has been at clearance prices from collectible shops going out of business. I was beginning to feel like one of those vultures at the end of Jungle Book.

Yeah, I have a thing for monkeys. :monkey3:monkey3:monkey3

I just got mine yesterday and it is an awesome new piece. I love the little fruit accessory.

I'm really looking forward to the Pegasus family (for obvious reasons)

Here is one of the front of the platform. You cannot see all the buildings, but I can put up some individual photos later!

Olszewski Studios displayed their prototype platform for Fantasyland this past weekend at Disneyland. It runs 3 feet long and can be connected to the Main Street platform (6 feet). Not sure if I have the space to connect the two together, but I am going to try! I am hoping they eventually build the entire park.

Hey, thanks for the update on Fantasyland.

I need some help. The other day when I was putting the third Electrical Parade set on Main Street, I found in the middle of the road, a thin tiny 3/4 inch by 1/8 inch sticker that says "Depot Main Street Plaza".
It is obviously one of the stickers that sits atop the doorway to one of the Main Street buildings but I don't know which one. I tried looking for an empty spot or tried looking at photos of the Main Street pieces on the internet but they aren't high enough resolution to see where it goes.

When you get a chance, if you could, can you tell me where the sticker goes?
thanks in advance!

Looks like the Fall 2010 pieces have been announced!

That JEDI MICKEY is a MUST!!! :yess::yess::yess:

He is an Open Edition Park Exclusive... which I hope it means that he will be available to purchase when my family visits Disneyland this December!:pray::pray:

Funny, it's almost the same price as a Big Fig. :wink1:

For those who are interested in the Jedi Mickey, here is more info on him!
