I just pulled the trigger for this guy. Urban Samurai Hobbies waa the cheapest I found. $115 + $8 for shipping.

I think I spent more than that on beer this weekend.
Just be careful with them if you had to pay upfront. USH already got me for about $300 and refuse to reply to emails or PMs about it.

Serious?

They were recommended eariler in the thread. I assumed they were reputable.

And payment isn't due until the figure in ready to ship.

How did they get you?

I paid ahead of time with PayPal. And since it's been over 60 days PP and Visa are no help. And USH wouldn't so much as answer an email letting me know about the items. They basically ignore any contact.
In stock items I've had no issues with at all- that was the disappointing part.

Here's my question to them....

Hi,
I paid for these two orders (Order #1217 and Order #1283) and they've yet to be filled. Are they still waiting, or can I get a refund if they can't be filled (I paid- and was charged- with PayPal).
Thanks,
John

They didn't charge me when I ordered this figure from them. I just got an email saying they would contact me when the order was ready to be filled. I'm waiting on this and the Pop Toys Wayne Suit to arrive.

I've never had any problems with Spencer at Urban Samurai. I'm surprised to hear you had a problem.

I like this one more than the Art Figures versions although they are kick *** too. I dig this one because I can pretend he's the Punisher Max version. Even though he never wore gear like this.:lol

Finally heard back with some good news....

I have been able to track down what happened with this figure and have been told they will be shipping out next week.

As soon as it arrives your order will ship out.

Still working on the DAM figure. When I have info on that one I will let you know.

Thanks.
Spencer

My thoughts exactly. AF's version is a good representation for the War Zone movie, this is a good modern/realistic representation of the character itself. Both figures are pure of win, given the price :clap

So, did he say the Revenger figure is shipping next week? Am I reading that right?

Press release say it's slated for Q3 release? So it could be July/August/September unless delayed?

Does anyone know what the bodies are like from this company?

This would be my first DAM/VTS figure, but from what I've read from reviews of their previous releases like the Ganster animated Jason Statham, it's okay in quality. If it's as good as the non-HT figures I have like Soldier Story and Art Figures, I'd be happy :)

Here's a couple of reviews of the Gangster figure. Halfway through is a photo of the naked body. My first time to see how "uniquely wierd" their shoulder joints are.

I remember being surprised at how realistic the headsculpt looked on the AF version, but honestly, the VTS head looks more like Ray Stevenson to my eyes. I really hope they follow the same pattern and release a Thomas Jane Punisher next!

Just in case VTS won't and you're looking for AF Thomas Jane Punisher, I think it can still be found at the secondary market for a decent price though the numbers are also thinning.

Speaking of Tom Jane, in case some of you have not seen this yet, this one is an awesome Punisher short film with Jane and Ron Perlman :)

:lecture:exactly:

While I love Ray Stevenson as an actor and I think War Zone was bad-*** compared to the other movie, I'd love Thomas Jane to be back on the role. Jane as Punisher is perfect, and that short film proves it.

I also liked both films... But I also agree, Jane is without a doubt, the Punisher! :rock
