Some of you don't visit the movie/tv forum much so I thought I would also post this here so you don't miss it.

Walmart has an exclusive on the Universal 100th Anniversay slip editions which include a Universal 100th Anniversary Collector Card. There are 25 cards in the set and they are randomly inserted. The cards are 5" x 6 3/8" (almost as big as the case) on thick card stock. These cards are shrinkwrapped on the back of the case (inside the slipcover); sometimes it is a second shrinkwrap over the existing shrinkwrap. All you need to do is slip the case out a bit to see which card is on the back, so it isn't a blind buy!

The checklist...

01. American Pie (1999)
02. Apollo 13 (1995)
03. Babe (1995)
04. Back to the Future (1985)
05. Big Lebowski, The (1999)
06. Birds, The (1963)
07. Breakfast Club, The (1985)
08. Blues Brothers, The (1980)*
09. Bourne Identity, The (2002)*
10. Bride of Frankenstein, The (1935)
11. Despicable Me (2010)
12. Dracula (1931)
13. E. T.: The Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
14. Fast & Furious (2009)
15. Field of Dreams (1989)
16. Frankenstein (1931)
17. Jaws (1975)
18. Jurassic Park (1993)*
19. Mamma Mia! The Movie (2008)
20. National Lampoon's Animal House (1978)
21. Psycho (1960)*
22. Spartacus (1960)
23. Sting, The (1973)
24. To Kill A Mockingbird (1962)

You mean you can't buy Dracula and get a Dracula card? I don't see people buying movies they don't want, with the hope of getting the card they need.

:exactly: I guess it wouldve made too much sense to have the cards match with the movie. :lol

The Birds is showing later this month at a vintage theater and the Lady from that movie will be there.

Tippi Hedren. There are several Universal movies getting a one day theatrical showing. Frankenstein, Dracula, To Kill A Mockingbird and probably others. There's more about it on the net, somewhere.

Where can these be bought? I would only be after the universal monsters cards I do not care for the rest. :D

According to the info posted here, they are randomly inserted into DVDs with the "Universal 100th Anniversary" slip covers.

Maybe you're supposed to trade with your friends, like baseball cards? Anybody got a PSYCHO for a BIG LEBOWSKI?

The cards are on the back of the BD case, facing outward, so all you have to do is slide the case out of the slip to see which card you are getting. So far, I've only seen cards on the same five Blu-rays, and one DVD.

The Monster,

Nicky, read the first post better buddy! Walmart Exclusives! :rotfl

Well, that's helpful! Now all you have to do is (possibly) buy a movie you don't want to get the card you do! :lol

I've already bought 4 dupes to get the monster cards, threw them up on eBay for a little less than retail and they sold in 1 day!!! I'm completing this set if it kills me!!! :rotfl

Added Apollo 13 and Mamma Mia! The Movie, bringing the checklist up to 22 titles; only 3 to go to have a complete checklist! I personally now have 20 cards (plus 1 dupe) and know where 2 more are that I need that I'll pick up this weekend. I'll have every card in the known checklist at that point!

Nick, I have a Frankenstein dupe if you haven't found one yet.
