Commtech, I think your paint on Tyler Durden looks great. I'm not sure what the others are looking at. Then again, I like my fig's to look more like the actor, not painted-up toys. Great work!:clap

oh just saw some cool repaints by sean ho:

I dunno... reminds me of Chris Cornell.

I'm liking that paint job a lot actually, might be my favorite so far. Could be the lighting, but the eyes don't look off at all.

Now if you could just do a pikey version I would invest:lol

Just realised you'd thought of that already with the bald version.

Are you still doing the bald version or is it discontinued?

I could back order some if you want.
So i don't have any in hand but if you were to order now, then next time I order stuff from my caster, I can have him send a bald one. I only had about 20 of those produced so it's got about 5-10 more i'd say.

Will leave it for now funds low and have a few other projects to finish plus my partner is expecting our first baby so will be even more short of time.
Saying that I will probably get round to it in the next month or two with sleepness nights and bottle feeding messing up my sleep routine:)

I will probably just order the normal head and add my own hair which I'll probably be pulling out by then :horror

Cheers for the info;)

Eagerly waiting for my custom I won on ebay. Was wondering, I plan on displaying it with the glasses on. This will be my first time to paint and I bought a crapload of paint last weekend except I forgot to buy white for the eyes. To those who painted it, is it necessary? Are the glasses dark enough that it doesnt matter or is lighter that would make it look funny if not painted. I plan on painting the pupils of course. Its just that I only know 1 place in my area that sells these paints and they close before I get off from work so either I take a long lunch and drive all the way there or wait til saturday. Saturday, I'm kinda iffy as I have plans but if you guys think it is necessary, I'll stop by this weekend.

Well you will definitely have to paint the eyes.
The red lenses aren't dark enough and you can easily see the eyes.
So yes thought times but you need to paint the eyes :lol

he he...Okie dokie, thank you very much Elvis.
Was looking at the earlier posts and after seeing some of the pics, I realized, DOH! I forgot to get white.

I think I'll take a long lunch tomorrow as I'm looking forward to painting the head.

Thanks again :)

I forgot to post my thoughts on that jacket. Having this and the rainman it is a far, far, far way from being anywhere near as good as Rainman's. They're not even in the same ballpark. It's too thick, the sleeves look bulky, shoulders are cut weird. But it's not horrible esp. for the price. i have mine painted brown on Donnie Brasco and i like it enough just fine.

Elvis, I really like your version, did you use gloss or semi-gloss for the face and hair?

Sunohc, are you also gonna make a sculpt of Ed Norton as the Narrator?
Brilliant! I was just about to ask this. I know in the past he said he was, and that he would even add it to his "how to" page on his web site. I just bought some supplies today to start on a custom outfit for whenever he gets around to it.
