Surprised HT passed on this, the movie made a good profit, although largely forgettable IMO. This seems like easy money.

Guess that means if a Kraven stand alone is made that will get passed over too.

They probably weren't given the option to. Besides Deadpool they've done almost no Marvel figures that weren't MCU. Strangely enough HT is the only company of like any brand/size to do a movie Deadpool.

Don't forget HT also made the Andrew Garfield Spideys from Sony's ASM & ASM2, along with the hot selling Electro from the latter. So while they probably had the option on Venom, they may have been a little gun shy.

I did forget those two. ASM2 came out in 2014, so it's been 4-5 years now.

I really like the Venom accessories but the sculpt leaves a lot to be desired imo.
I purchased an eddie head-sculpt already that I fell captures Tom better.

Thanks, I have. Just the head not a whole figure. So I guees I will need the Toys Era figure. And still hope for a Hot Toys one

The one figure w/ 2 headsculpts isn't bad for $150, but the statue by itself for over $200 is a joke. $300 for the both of them is quite a lot too, I wouldn't do it unless I LOVED it.

My dilemma: buy the figure I LIKED (this one), or save that money for something that maybe hasn't come out yet but if it does I'll LOVE it...lol

Maybe if this was my favorite movie of all time. The statue for over $200 by itself makes no sense; if you really wanted just the statue but the big bundle and then sell the figure.
