I enjoy both of the new films. Personally liked the 2014 film better. Out of the shadows probably had a bigger budget but I don't like their version of Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady. There's humor much like the first movie but somehow it's trying to be too kid friendly or something like that. Just very dumbed down humor. Maybe it was trying to be more 80s toon tone.
Was a bit sad to know there's not going to be a 3rd movie. Was curious if they would tell a story that doesn't involve the Shredder as the main villain.

If there is another live action movie, it'll certainly be a complete reboot. My gut tells me the next TMNT movie we'll see down the line will be animated so Paramount isn't as worried to lose as much with a next go around.

I have a feeling the next thing we'll probably see live action on screen will be Baxter Stockman into the Fly and the mousers. That just seems like the next thing to bring to the screen.

The next movie they will listen to the fans. People were hype about the movie til micheal bay was involved. Do what you will with transformers but leave the turtles alone.

I love transformers to

Yeah apparently there was a script written by John Fusco that was going to be more like a Eastman & Laird meets Batman Begins vibe to it that felt very in line with the original film...but Paramount said the script was too dark and it was scrapped.

Which is a damn shame and I hope it leaks some day. I really have to read that.

I think what the Turtles need is a darker toned, Eastman & Laird-style Netflix series.

Start with the brothers looking like Ninja's instead of WWE mutants on steroids.

Exactly. To display how LITTLE thought was put into those designs think of this: why in the hell would the turtles ever need martial arts training to defend themselves if they each weigh 500-750 lbs? Like who the hell would stop them? At that size, it's just dumb to add martial arts to their training when they are that massive.

Yeah. I was discussing that with my wife yesterday. The turtles are supposed to be young teenagers around five feet tall. They're ninjas, not hulked out wrestlers.

And for God's sake, quit making Mikey into an idiot!

You can be a jokester, a prankster and a goof without going into stupid territory. 1st movie Mikey was, IMO, best Mikey.

Exactly!

Michelangelo is written off way too much as an incompetent and absent minded moron too much when in reality he should just represent the heart and humor as opposed to cheap laughs. You're right, the 1990 Mikey was my favorite representation as well.

As much as I do like the 2012 series, they're a victim of using him as the idiot joke crutch way too much...and the Michael Bay films...well...he was insanely creepy in those movies too.

I prefer my Micheangelo to be written like Peter Parker...not Peter Griffin.

Has there been any word on S.H doing all the turtles characters? Would love Bebop and Rocksteady, maybe some Mousers

We'll find out next week. Casey Jones is one they want to do and I hope they do too
