I would leave the toys and go props, and building your own. Go build your self an R2!!!!
 
----------I've been collecting Star Wars since the early 1980s. It now takes up almost two floors of my house. The key to a great collecting life is to know your limits, get passed 'owning it all', (which it sounds like you totally have) and marry an understanding woman.
 
My man cave remodel is 2/3 done. Walls are in place and I've visually mapped out where stuff is going to go. Unfortunately, I collected heavily for so long there is NO way everything will fit. This will be a deciding factor in which pieces get kept and those let go to fund another, big project.
