Call me a tightwad but I'd rather make a one-off purchase of the stuff I wanna rewatch than pony up a monthly fee. That said, it's hard to discover new stuff without a subscription of some type.

Am 1) lazy and 2) didn't think the 7$ a month was too bad - figured along the way D+ would have some goodies this summer. Dunno - some sort of exclusive views.

That didn't happen:lol

Instead am still waiting around to watch Mulan (which after reviews am not that excited about anyway). Still, it's nice to re-watch Mando, Clone Wars, SW, Rebels whenever I want. Killing time re-watching Rebels at the moment.

The price is worth it for the Simpsons alone.....

Ah yes the lack of press interviews such as this and this.

In that Pedro interview, he basically hints that we'll be seeing his face more.

Or this:

Before Pascal knew anything about ?The Mandalorian,? its showrunner and executive producer Jon Favreau knew he wanted Pascal to star in it.

?He feels very much like a classic movie star in his charm and his delivery,? says Favreau. ?And he?s somebody who takes his craft very seriously.? Favreau felt Pascal had the presence and skill essential to deliver a character ? named Din Djarin, but mostly called Mando ? who spends virtually every second of his time on screen wearing a helmet, part of the sacrosanct creed of the Mandalorian order.

Grace is pretty safe with her BS tho:Flush since a lot of folks don't spend 30 seconds fact-checking except on YT and Twitter.

Not like Favreau and co. don't have jobs and &^%$ besides giving interviews....like gearing up production on Season 3:blissy

On a side note, rewatched the ILM footage on the Razor Crest - am just so impressed by the skills and work that was done. It's this vid's fault I'll probably go for the Hasbro RC $$$

Edit: Will just leave this here as thought it was an intelligent commentary on a show beloved for its simplicity; and the potential pitfalls as it carries the SW legacy forward. Yeah, I remember last year. The best thing about TROS, IMO, was seeing the Mandalorian trailer in theater. I got cheated of the Knights of Ren, u b@st@rds. Well, the Knights doing much, anyway. Except getting their @sses kicked.:banghead

You know you are a cultural icon when:

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/baby-yoda-joins-londons-national-portrait-gallery-with-mandalorian-and-the-child-oil-painting

Baby Yoda has joined some of the most famous faces in the U.K., being unveiled as an exclusive portrait in collaboration with London's National Portrait Gallery.

The 3 foot by 2 foot oil painting "The Mandalorian and the Child" — commissioned to mark the arrival of the second season of The Mandalorian on Disney+ — features both the title's bounty hunter holding famed infant The Child. The image is set to hang alongside some of the National Portrait Gallery’s own collection of portraits of familiar faces from the Star Wars galaxy, including Sir Alec Guinness, Thandie Newton, Felicity Jones, Ben Morris, Riz Ahmed and Gareth Edwards.

The display — open to the public Oct 30 - Oct 31 — will also include original concept art from The Mandalorian created by artists such as Doug Chiang, John Park and Christian Alzman.
