The Lego Minifigure Thread

I can't seem to find any form of Lego Collectable Thread for minifigures. So I thought I would start one.
As most people know, Lego has released The Simpsons house recently to which I have only heard good things.
They have decided to release a Series-S in their minifigure line which will consist of 16 Simpsons minifigures.
Two images were released thus far:

I will make sure to pick these up asap as they will be popular among collectors. I will post photos of my minifigure collection hopefully by tonight.

Ive managed to complete series 5 and 9. Hoping to complete Series 10, 11 and The Movie by months end.

Interesting. Are these those individual packs with the random figure inside? If so, I bought my kids some of those from The Lego Movie. Unfortunately, they got some doubles because you couldn't see what figures you were grabbing.

Yeah, it's a pain when your kid is harrassing you because he wants that one "special" minfigure.
I believe there was one series (could have been five) where each figure had it's own barcode.
So, the eagle eyed could tell which one was inside.

That sure would be a help to these "blind" bags, but I guess that's half the fun.

Basically you have to feel through the pack and recognise specific pieces that is part of that character. Its tricky at first, but it gets easier.

I bought an Abraham Lincoln, less because he was a LEGO minifigure, more because he's Abraham Lincoln.

Though I'll pick up some of Simpsons for sure.

I've got a few misfits from the series line.

I'm getting all those Simpsons figures. First time I'll pick up a full wave of these. Not going to be fun getting them all, but at least with the heads being unique you can more easily feel which is which.

I want them all! I hope there's another series, as I'd really like for them to make characters such as Principal Skinner, Reverend Lovejoy, Edna Krabappel, etc.

I don't think we'll be seeing Krabappel anytime soon. Once an actor has died its really, really rare for them to bring out merch for the character. We were lucky to get Hutz and McClure in WoS. Now that Wallace is gone and Krabappel has been retired, I think she'll be off limits.

Nah, I doubt that. Like you said, they made action figures of actor Phil Hartman's characters, such as Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz, well after he was murdered. I wouldn't be surprised if Edna appears in the line, especially if she's already planned/prototyped.
