Not only is it time for another Jason, but some more New Line Horror all together. We keep getting fifty million of the Star Wars, and the LOTRs, but I haven't seen any new Jasons or anything from that in quite some time. New Line Horror is the only reason I have been collecting Sideshow Stuff faithfully these last few years.

Figured this was as good a place as any to post this...

I just got my regular edition "Freddy vs. Jason" Jason Voorhees 1/6 figure in the mail today, and I am blown away!! While it is lacking in areas (namely torso articulation), the detailing on the costume and paint apps are spectacular. The hockey mask in particular is so well painted that it looks eerily real! My only nitpick was that the hair was placed in a single, well-groomed clump, but five minutes and some selective snipping and pulling took care of that problem.

A definite winner!!!! Jason fans should pick up this increasingly-rare figure if they haven't already. Echo Base Toys (www.echobasetoys.com) still has a few in stock for retail price, and they are very speedy shippers to boot.

And that flaming machete kicks a**!!!

FVJ Jason is my personal favorite.


any way, They need to do Part 8 and Roy. We need at least one killer from each movie. If Sideshow has it doubts about these selling good (even though I can't see why...) at least make a limited amount so the die hard fans get them, and there is plenty of those.

That's just it though...they DO sell good!!! Look at the eBay prices for these figures. That says it all right there.

Don't forget Uber-Jason.

I'll make a prediction based upon nothing but my own intuition. I think this is going to be the order of the final three line-up:


3) Uber-Jason - to contrast sharply with the more classic Part 4 Jason we just got

2) Part VIII Jason

1) Roy - finish off the line with the imposter or "non-Jason" F13 slasher...would be more circle-completing or symbolic if Pamela Voorhees had been the first of the line though...

They seem to be making one figure per movie, so if they didn't make "Uber" Jason the line would be complete, as a Jason X figure was already done. What they really should of done was Make Uber Jason instead of the existing Jason X figure.
