Sideshow should just start offering a solid cast version of the exact same pieces for $200 more as an option ..... and let them hold their warehouse racks down ..... :monkey1

I received my hulk and I must say it is really a nice sculpt and the weight issue does not bother me. On the other hand I do have a flaw with the statue and I want to get some opinions on whether or not to send it back. The first little flaw was a small chip on one of the toe nails. I can paint and I easily fixed that flaw. The second flaw I can not fix. My hulk has a perfectly circular hole on his left a$$ cheek. It is maybe a half inch in diameter. The only reason I noticed it was because the damn pants are so tight and it made an indentation. I stretched the pants and made creases to cover up the hole. Is this something to get "ocd" over and send back or should I stop stressing over it.

No word yet. Usually takes 3 or 4 days.

What result are you expecting to get? Would you be happy to keep hold of what youve got and recieve a small refund (as im sure SSC only do small refunds like $45:mad:) or do you think you'll return the whole thing back?

Is it something you could take a pic of Deejay so we could see?

Only you can decide how much it bothers you. :dunno
If you're not happy contact them, it's a lot of money to drop on something that bothers you.

I am at work at the moment but with the way I adjusted the pants, you can not tell that it is even there. I just know that it is and I wish I could cut the pants to see what exactly it is. It definitely is a hole because i was able to push my finger fairly deep into it. Man this is sounding very naughty lol. I wonder if it was suppose to be filled or something and they forgot or it was just a bad casting and the production crew felt it wasn't going to be noticeable.

Doesnt sound too bad the way youve described, especially when you can cover it or futz the pants to make out nothings there...but if its a clear case of the OCD kicking in then only you can decide for yourself whether its worth replacing...remember one thing though...there is a good possibility that you could also recieve something you dont like with the replacement :lecture Good luck either way my friend :)

If it bothers you just send it back for replacement! Not like they don't have an unlimited amount of these, and you don't have to pay for shipping anyway.

Got mine in yesterday, staggered by how perfect it is. This insane Hulk fan is blown away. I love my pf but the Avengers piece is just in a different catagory. Gorgeous sculpt and detail. I have NIL gripes, just thrilled.

:horror Now I need to check if my Hulk has an a-hole when I get home...

I can relate to this situation, though...even though it doesn't affect the look of the piece, you know it's there and it just irks you. My Daredevil comiquette has a broken right thumb that I glued back on. It's an almost imperceptible repair, but nonetheless, it bugs the heck out of me.

As already noted, though...the risk you take with sending it back is that you will get a worse one as a replacement.
