had the parts. so, I thought I'd try this...

almost done. somehow kinda deciding against the full-BD look.

Wow, that looks fantastic! I love the arm sleeves especially, they look damn near perfect.

What is the base body, and can you post a link to the arm sleeves?

wow. that's something. I hated the figure myself for the longest of time... so, it feels really good to hear something like that.
I always thought you had the perfect McClane. thanx.

as usual the full parts list is located here:

the body is actually the TTM-19. I just swapped the arms w/ a body I had lying around (maybe something equivalent to Luke Skywalker/HT narrow shoulder).

here's a link for the sleeves:

Thank you for that!

I love my McClane, but his arms are something I've never been happy with, they're just too muscular/defined. I definitely prefer the arms you've achieved overall. :)

oh, and if youre planning on something similar... I forgot to mention, that I made a sort-of-a harness for the sleeves inside the torso.
without it they'll just sorta pop out of the shoulder every time you move the arms. the sleeves arn't the most articulant things either...

Flippin' A those are beautiful.... in a manly way! What medium are you using to sculpt the hair out of. It looks spot on.

You did a remarkable job on that DH1 figure. Might be the best version I've seen.

That McClane looks so Awesome, nice job man!

I take it that these compliments are meant for me...
thanx guys! sorry for not answering, but the forum has been down for me since the 26th?

actually it's really really SSSLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW as I type this aswell.
the pages dont seem to load? I've tried different browsers etc., but it's all the same way?

anyhow, I used 'staedtler fimo effect'-putty (flesh toned, but there's different colors of it available also) for the hair.
the shop clerk convinced me the stuff is pretty much the same as super-sculpey, but I'm not entirely sure.
at least it's pretty easy to handle...
the hair is essentially made of thin strands of the stuff. so, I dont know exactly how durable/hard it is? it might brake if it should fall or such. hard to say.
