That being said I am still buying S1 and S2 because they were good swashbuckling SW for me as were a few episodes from S3 especially the final 2 episodes.

I’m bummed that Andor pushed to 2025.

Anyone else getting The Mandalorian on 4k or Blu? I was going to buy but my jets are cooling. I can’t remember what I liked about the show lol
I'm getting the season 1 & 2 blu-ray steelbooks. Lots of good characters and highly rewatchable episodes, plus one of the best endings in TV history i.m.o. Also, this might actually be the last classic feeling, old-school Star Wars we'll ever get from Disney.

Damn it will someone move this page forward !!!

I’m still contemplating Mando on 4K but I do have Streets Of Fire and Witness UHDs coming in the next couple of weeks.
Both are great choices for sure. I need to get the Warriors 4K. I just watched Young Guns in 4K. Really awesome addition to the collection.

So Aliens/Abyss/TL will release in digital this coming tuesday but us disc diehards have to wait until March grrrr :gah:
Waited so long for these a few months will fly by.

Back to the Exorcist, Movies Unlimited decided to cancel the order and not tell me. Luckily I found the 5 disc set on Amazon France. Ordered.

There’s a bit too much copy pasting going on in these three reviews, to the point they keep pasting grammar errors, obviously trying to get them out of the door quickly plus some of their comments especially about the highly processed images have me a little worried. But I am still excited for them, hopefully the discs will be better than these streaming versions and yes admit a little bit impatient now :)

I own OLEDs, I have an 80” tv…in my bedroom for crying out loud lol, i’m spoiled with great image and audio quality at home…

BUT the theatrical experience can’t be replaced when done right no matter how great your home experience may be.

Watched my 2nd favorite action movie of all time Die Hard 1 lastnight with a sold out audience in a large theater and 20% of the audience were first time watching it.

They actually conducted a hand raising poll prior the movie starting because the movie had a guest speaker script writer professor from NYC who also stayed after the movie for a script breakdown, behind scenes stories, character study anecdotes and historical significance.

It was a mind blowing thrilling experience it really felt like opening weekend 1988 all over again for me!!!!

That movie remains a true masterpiece AND….AND I’m seriously SERIOUSLY considering replacing Raiders as my # 1! :thud:
