The only theatrical 3D movies I've seen with the red and blue glasses were Creature from the Black Lagoon (which looked cool but gave me a splitting headache) and Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, lol.

I never used the glasses. It was an option in the menu on the disc

:lol :lol

1 more than me lol

F13th 3 was my one and only until Superman Returns Imax 3D during the plane rescue scene lol

The craziest theatrical presentation ever to be released with only a fraction of the movie in 3D and you had to keep putting on the glasses then removing them when prompted throughout the entire movie I kid you not lol

Re: The Blu-Ray Upcoming, News & Info Thread

I actually saw F13 3D in 3D at the theater, as well as Spacehunter and Metalstorm. While I enjoyed the 3D at the time, I don't think I'd bother with analglyph again, now that I've tasted something better.

Hell, if they can release Jaws 3 in 3D on blu-ray, the absolute worst 3D movie I've ever seen, then everything else should be released automatically. [emoji38]

I saw Parasite, Jaws 3D, and Freddy's Dead. I saw about the first 20 min of Andy Warhol's Frankenstein but my dad decided it was time to leave when he found out it was basically a soft core porn film :lol

Only 1-2-3 in 4K if i?m not mistaken with 3 in 3D HD (obviously not 4K 3D).

and Part 4.

I ordered it. Like the Box art and I am sure I will enjoy the 2 Extra's discs and the new supplements on the discs themselves.

Also I think this is the first time all the Ft13th films have been on individual discs since DVD.

My mother used to indulge my love of horror movies as a kid. I remember her taking me to see this Italian horror movie, and the person selling tickets asked "are you sure you want to take him to this movie?" She was insulted that somebody would question her parenting skills, and we went into the movie. Like yours, mine turned out to be a softcore porn movie disguised as horror. She was mortified, and eventually got tired of asking me to cover my eyes. I think the only thing that kept her from leaving the theater with me in tow, was that she didn't want to give the ticket seller the satisfaction of being right. [emoji38]

:lol :lol :lol

Great story!

Looks like none of them are on 4K discs. Just 4K restorations but then put on Blu-ray like RoboCop and Escape From LA.

I wish I had a 3D tv for it :lol

I'm a somewhat big Ft13th fan. Well 2,3,4,6,7, and FvJ I am a fan of but I can easily watch any of the others. My best friend is a nut for it. So I kind of got attached to the series through him.

New 4k scans means they will still look better then ever and the more special features the better.

Ummm Mr JAWS sir....

1 is still the best lol

Tell your friend I have been to the original camp (and town) twice, helped Sean Cunningham set up on one of his F13th Con and literally hung up a huge F13th banner with him AND ate dinner with Adrienne King at a restaurant after the Con was over.

She had her personal photo album with incredible photos still never released.

Still not buying no 4K scan though lol
