I tried to get pics of the 3A booth at NYCC today but they were still tweaking their display, which looked like a big, corroded dollhouse from what I could see.

Directly across at another booth was this custom (Popbot, I think?) which was one of the coolest things I saw all day -

Thanks for the shots - Are you going for an NYCC Zomb?

My pleasure. It's fun walking around snapping.

I'm not getting a Zomb - I don't own any 3A yet but I am a big fan of the bots and some of the TK figures. Came close to picking up the Baka Slicer from a cool Freak but actually lost my job right before the release. I hope to go back for him.

The portable line (1/12th) is a good way to go if you want to check out stuff without making too much of an investment. It's what finally got me into 3A. I picked up the Floyd Armstrong - really cool.

Of course right after receiving my first portable figure, I immediately started seeking out 1/6 figures I missed.


Speaking of, who's getting fingered this weekend?
