The Tama 3PO I have is weathered so figured R2 should be weathered the as well. Think it benefits well from some dirt. View attachment 388911

Fantastic work! I'd love to see your 3PO as well. I still plan to weather mine up but just haven't figured out the best way to do so yet.

Now that is a very nice display case. I would modify the ground surface though. Like a Deathstar or Tantive floor.

I have ordered an aluminum custom made to measure floor. I will post a pic asa it is installed...

The only good 3PO shot that captures the weathering in person is this one with the fingerprint lol. In non-flash pics the weathering is too vague to pick up.

Thank you! Used my girlfriends makeup actually, it gave it that dirt effect. Just used q-tips to apply & clean up any excess. I’d like to do a permanent weathering, but wouldn’t know how to begin lol ��

He needs black in all the crevices like R2. Like this Kaiyodo I did.

Too bad the brass turned greenish over time...

They look great together Sturtrup...i'm still on the fence between this and HT TFA version...but i might just wait it out for the inevitable OT version from HT..

Yeah Matrix, they look great together. I think that if you don't have tama c3po both tama and ht r2d2 are a good deal. But with tama c3po you must choose tama r2d2!!
Come on guys...someone can tell me a good price for r2d2??
