Every figure in this line is better than the last. But I will be happy once the spear men are out and the trooper line is done though.

Has there been any news about those? Last I saw the only prototypes we've seen are Darth Maul, Prototype Boba Fett and Jango Fett, but the spearman and snowtrooper were only in concept arts. I'd love to get all the troopers eventually but the line has slowed down considerably.

Spearman was revealed at the same time as the Drummer and Archer.

Knowing Bandai from my Gundam collecting, I would say the spearman is coming eventually. The only new parts is the spear and Bandai won't pass up on this.

Probably, eventually. It's an easy enough custom though, just an archer without the shoulder shield and a spear. Maybe I'll do it if they make knockoff archers some time.

Together with Sandtroopers makes me want to get more as well but I'll run out of space and the spear trooper will probably be released soon. I guess I'll stick with a pair for now.

until my archer come, let me show off my IG-88 as komuso monk. It would be nice if I could strech the figure to get the proper height, but it is too risky.

Basically it is a kitbash of Vader and stormie painted to look more metalic/robotic with patches of rust and oil (which are unfortunately not visible in pictures). Shoulder pad is repaint of stormie skirt armor. Bandolera is some beads for home made jewlery which looks close enough to termal detonators. Head is some straw glued on to a cork. I opted for red eye slots to be in the spirit of IG. Hands and shoes I did not paint to get some more komuso things and not just the head, flute and shoulderpad.

Fun and easy, but not something to look forward to from Bandai

Nice work. If you want to get the monk feet just right, consider swapping those trooper feet for Boba Fett feet, they look very similar to the monk's on your picture.

Dont have any more boba feet. I would like if you could buy just the parts you need an then mix and match, but...
