Stormtrooper costume - which/where to get?

Was thinking of getting a full 1:1 stormtrooper costume.

On ebay, there seems to be many choices claiming authenticity.

I know there's the Rubies and then there's the unknown UK production ones and the seemingly official props shop in London (jedi robe).

This seems the better full package, you think?

Yes, join your local garrisons board of the 501st and starting asking questions. Another good place is www.whitearmor.net which is the official 501st site for clean troopers.

Hi TD-0488, great stuff you have there. I'm assuming they are all custom made and not straight from the stores.

I'm hopeless with customs and time constrained. So, am looking for best off the rack and bang for the buck. The one on the UK store claims to be 501st worthy, is it worth ?

It is a good suit, but you can buy one from a guy in Canada for half that. And it will be thicker. AP armor. If you want the, jlmk, I will not post it in open forum.

Plus, you could check with your local garrison. The UK garrison is an active one. There are a lot of people selling their extra costumes due to money issues. Check there first.

Yes, it is a Jango Fett Open Season...nice pick up....

Please please please contact your local Garrison.

NO costume, no matter the claims, will be ready to wear and 501'st worthy out of the box. A Stormtrooper outfit will have to be trimmed and altered to fit YOU, in order to look authentic.

I strongly suggest you get everything you need, in the sizes you need, separately. Boots, Neckseal, bodysuit, armor, helmet, gloves. Your local Garrison can help you when you have it all.
