On topic kind of: Does anybody know who is writing Episode 9? I feel like Trevoeuiodud or whatever his name is needs a strong writer. Hopefully the main plot points have been mapped out by Kasdan and Abrams.

TrU is inundated with SW toys, me thinks these items didn't sell as much as they were hoping it would.
Star Wars toy sales surpassed $700 million in 2015, more than Avengers, Jurassic World, and Minions combined.
Every walmart around me is SW dry except for the odd black series Finn.

I was shocked to see Luke's and Yoda's lightsabers back in stock today at TrU, they've been out since November and been going on Ebay for $400.00.

I wonder which is more profitable, box office or merchandise.
Studios only get to keep 50% of the box office so i'll go with the merchandise.
The one near me only had Finn and one other, but I can't remember the name of it. It was #09.
All other figures were gone. They mostly had odd ball stuff on the shelf, like key chain plushies or things nobody in their right mind would want.
The $700 million was just toy sales though. Total merchandise for 2015 was over a billion.
