YouTube is now potentially removing the dislike button presumably because of Lucasfilm/Disney complaints. Ridiculous
I dislike the dislike button. But then I dislike the like button.

Give it 25 years time and our thinking will then truly be controlled by big tech and big corporations. Social media will not be a semi “free speech” zone as it is now. You will see them going after negative reviews even harder and having them removed. You will see political opinions that lean wrong removed. Internet as it once was will cease to exist.
Did anyone read the Forbes article about the firing of Gina Carano earlier this month? It seems quite significant that Forbes would opine in this manner.

What a freaking joke. You can freely organize riots and promote violence on twitter and twitter doesn't go after those accounts. They have literal terrorist accounts that go untouched. YouTube is removing the dislike button at the request of various influences ranging from the Biden Administration to Disney. Left Corporate Controlled speech and media is fun eh? I remember another party that sought to control all aspects of speech and media... ironic the labels they throw around are so very true of themselves.

The article says "A third announced spinoff, "Rangers of the New Republic" is not currently in active development."
It means that they are active working on Book of Boba and Ahsoka right now, with no news of the "Rangers of the New Republic", nowhere in the text it says anthing about the Rangers spinoff, just speculates that its not currently in active development just like The Mandalorian season 3.
According to youtubers Midnight's Edge Kathleen is no longer driving the ship and is on leave until her contract expires and Bob Chapek has played 4d holochess to remove her from her post in such a manner so as to allow her to save face and keep him free from the taint of 'removing the most powerful woman in hollywood'.

If you announce something, it is in active development till it isn't. This is clearly on the back burner because of Gina. They didn't mention Mando S3 not in active dev. No one said canceled, yet.

It doesn't mention season 3 of the Mandalorian because that part of the article looks to be specifically referencing the mandalorian spin-off shows only. Not being in active development is code for it being dead. If the trades are reporting it in this manner then there are currently no plans to take it forward, the studios tell them the narrative to print. If they were really going to shoot it at some point in the near future or if it was an active project but still in the earliest stages then they would be writing it now or creating story boards etc.
Do you have a source for her contract being extended?
