Yeah that Chewie is amazing in person. I saw someone pick up a large canvas framed one at C4. It was amazing! Hope we all take advantage of the sale. Can't remember the last time Acme had one.

i forgot to add I also really like the "Trooper" one too. *sigh*

Here's a blast from the past. This bad boy was for sale in the Star Wars Insider years ago. It must've been 15 years ago, I took out a loan from my parents to pay for this. It's hard to raise $60 when you're only 13 years old. Then my parents got it framed for me, they went for the whole shebang, double-matte, special glass, that stuff that makes sure it doesn't turn colors. It was something like $300 to get it framed, my memory is fuzzy on the subject, but I remember thinking, "Jeez, why is the frame so much more than the picture??"

You can't see it very well, but the second matte and the frame are both Boba Fett green :rock

Very coool print...Yeah, it sucks that framing cost more than the print, but I guess those 'experts' need to charge so much for all that work...

expensive, but totally worth it!! that looks impressive. i feel the same way about getting frames made. i went to michael's to get a frame made for my diploma and get the matting in my school's colors---until i found out it was gonna cost over $200

I can't help but think that the framing business is one big scam. I mean, places like Michaels regularly put out coupons for huge percentages off (which must mean that they have a big profit margin), and they're still pretty expensive. Looks good though.

I love this Dave Dorman piece. He has some spectaclar Star Wars art. Never been at the right place at the right time to get this Boba, but one day... Thaks for the photo.

Heads up - over at officialpix they have the stunning CJ Sanda print for $30.

Glad I could help. Can wait to see more of her work, especially if it's SW related. Has anyone else picked up any art lately?

She hasn't done something Star Wars related but she said she wants to give the Boba Fett a try and she likes the look of the Sanda print and might want to give it a try too!

Here is her Hogwarts, a couple of you asked to see it:

The pics were taken with my iPhone and aren't the best quality but you get the idea. We go on Christmas break next Friday and she wants to give one of them a shot over break. :rock

Sithspawn on Rebelscum has the 'They were expendable' print for sale...Good luck on the 'Spirit of 77' one..
