No, custom framing really is not cheap (although I think $460 is a little on the high end). That's why I pretty much only get stuff that fits into standard frames. I mean, in some cases it's cheaper to commission an artist to do an original work of art to your specifications than it is to buy an oddly shaped print and have it custom framed. And for me it's more meaningful. That Leia piece is a stunner though.

The leia does look great (not to single this out though but) 750-ish dollars great?
No. Im no expert but id think it would be hard to sell it at half that price, not a prob if it never needs to be sold but, ya know, to me, that kinda money is investment level...

Man, I so want the C4 Leia print. I regret passing on it. *This* however, I am very glad I got at C4.

Here are some of my other pieces. Sorry for the bad lighting. My flash hates me.

Okay, this one is an album cover but it looks really cool.

Those Dorman look great! I have all of those panoramic "rolling thunder" Dorman prints that I'm convinced I will never get framed, just to damn expensive to get them properly framed and matted. It's a shame really that they sit in storage never seeing the light of day. Some of them have Re marques too. I've been thinking about selling them to a good home.....

Great collection DP! Wish I had bought that Seeley print at C4. I spend so much money on art, but that one got past me. Thanks for the pics.

Don't know if it counts as "Fine Art" but I printed my entry into the Photo Competition onto canvas and framed it.

Some funny guy at work passed judgment by hanging it in the Bogs! :monkey2

Everyones an art critic...

Looks great on canvas, but we need to find a proper place. Really nice work.

Picked up Chris Wahl's Hoth Encounter:

Hey guys, I may be leaving for college soon and was wondering if its fine to just leave the art prints framed up and hanging on the walls for the long term or should i take em down and put them into storage?
