Just thought I'd let everybody know that Profiles in History
will be holding a Auction in October.
Under the hammer they have a Stan Winston Predator, Terminator endo, Tx and Batman returns statues all from the show room at the Stan Winston Studios.
The last time they sold an T-800 endo went for $500,000.
This is the first time the Predator has gone up for sale $???
I actually find all this sad, I like the idea of all these awesome originals being in one place.
RIP Stan.

how do you know this?............link? i would give my kidney for that pred at the SWS :monkey2

Makes me sad to hear that these statues will leave their home.....
However, I'm very interested in how much will the ending price be..

Maybe I rob a bank or something, I'd love to get Endo from there!

:monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

hopefully Sideshow will buy this and recast it for us :monkey3

Dream on? :p :/

You know they did don't you.
Stan Winston studios scanned the Predator to help produce the maquette for Sideshow.
They also scanned the t-800 & t-x for cinemaquette.

I feel bad for them. :( Those pieces are a part of stan winston studios history. I wonder why they're up for auction. If stan were still alive today, would they auction these off? So sad.

As I already said, I'm sad to hear they leave their home, and that they're getting separated..

It wasn't supposed to happen..

This is amazing!

I always wondered why the studio replica has the P2 guantlets and hands on though.

Seriously, why isn't this stuff in the world's greatest movie museum? Screw wax museums. There should be an ultimate movie prop museum for this kind of stuff in Hollywood. People come to Hollywood all the time to see where the movies are made, and there is nothing this cool here to see.
