What do you all think of the rumors that they are going to reshoot half of the movie? Is this good news or horrible news? I never saw Godzilla or anything else by the director (or maybe I should say initial director if the rumors are true).

I thought Godzilla was horrible but i think i was int he minority. As long as I get a Royal Guard i don't care.

That little Stormtrooper doll better be a HT Deathtrooper accessory :lol

All I'm getting in general collecting is a 1/4 scale Vader and Trooper. And I believe they will be released in conjunction with the Rogue One movie. 100% makes sense in that they are both iconic characters in the original trilogy and are in the new Rogue One movie. Huge potential for sales. I can also see HT re-doing the 1/4 Vader from the Revenge of the Sith to Rogue One. ROTS Vader just isn't worth the risk...I think a lot of buyers would hold off from buying it.

I want:

A Director Krennic figure

A Deathtrooper

That Trooper squad leader (orange pauldron) with the antenna backpack seen escorting the captured pilots in the first trailer

A K-2SO

I don't think I'll dip into any of the newer movies original characters. The TFA Chewie, 1/4 rogue one Vader and Trooper are my next purchases. And the Han Solo anthology movie has to have Boba Fett in it. So I'll get that.

I love Poe and would love him in his X-wing gear with black helmet but for the record Bail Organa (Jimmy Smits) is at least part Puerto Rican. I admit that it would seem that 50% of those on this forum refuse to accept the existence of the prequel trilogy however so your comment stands "from a certain point of view".

Exactly, flight gear Poe would be amazing dude

You're right, haha. I always forget about Jimmy. He needs a figure too then dammit!

I'd love a raggedy little Stormtrooper doll!

I am probably in the minority here but I am not digging the Deathtrooper. The design is so busy with all the angles and layers and accessories and the green lights in the mask look like they were put on there in an effort to be different rather than as a logical part of the design. They look like a cosplay costume you would see at Comic Con. I would prefer I f they were sleak and more of a slightly altered, all black version of the classic Stormtrooper.

If course seeing them in motion/action could alter my opinion.

They're really just specifically geared up, the way a special operative would be. Which is what they are. They actually look like they can shoot and hit something haha. But to each their own! I can respect where you'd prefer a variant of the Shadowtrooper. I love the tactical load out that they have, it makes them distinct.

I was talking to my cousin this weekend and she said it would be really cool if they would introduce them in the movie with just the glowing green lights in their helmets appearing in a dark room, closing in on a target. Show them as elite, efficient, and stealthy soldiers. Make them scary, the boogeymen in the dark. I think it's safe to assume the green lenses and lights are supposed to represent night vision capabilities anyway.
