I was so close to cancelling my pre-order because I figured this was just never coming out. SO glad I didn't. Hopefully someone does a Black Lightning and I can put together my own little Outsiders set

Just out of curiosity. Does anyone know how long it takes for Soo Soo figures to get released to the stateside sellers? Is it 4-6 weeks like Hot Toys?

The boots do let it down. Though it seems with SooSoo that what they show in their promo photos is what you actually get in production.



I don't mind plastic boots, and painting the laces might lift them a bit.

For height reference, though you can't tell what the figures are standing on in Situgl's photos:

She just arrived, and he's very good.

I'm impressed again by SooSoo's packaging, which is very much what you'd expect from Hot Toys.

Comparing the figure to their promotional images I can say that she's almost identical. The only difference I could find was that on the production piece the rayskin showing between braid on the hilt on the Soultaker katana isn't painted.

The blades on both the katana and tanto are metal.

She really is a nice figure for the price.

Yesterday the forum was reducing the size of my uploaded photos, but that looks to be fixed on the previous post.


I adjusted the position of the scabbards so they're more towards her side, allowing her arm to hang more easily in front of them.

Turned out to be amazing figure for that money. I'll get her, can't have enough Suicide Squad figures. It's my guilty pleasure. Although i'm very much looking forward to Gunn's take on it.

He says he thinks Katana looks a little small. The SooSoo figure is actually a little too tall for the actress - Karen F ukuhura is only 5' "1. Without her boots the figure is 0.8cm too tall. It's negligible because she still looks small against the other Squad members.
