Lurtz might've had a big head and small arms. But since when did he have a small waist? I still contend the proportions are off. By shrinking the head just a tad, they can make Lurtz look more hefty without fixing his waistsize...which is obvious in the pic below:

Imagine the 1/4 Lurtz without his armor...

I like the sculpt, but dammit, I can't shake the feeling that there's something not entirely right about this sculpt. We'll see once it's in hand.

I was gonna start a new thread, but I'll just post it here-

What hits!? (Chili Peppers Best Of, if you dont get it)
As most of you know, when a new piece comes out there are the likers (normally afew people are always the likers) and then theres the dislikers (apparently always the same people). Generally the dislikers are called out, and are drilled different theories as to why the piece is spot on (more times than not in bad english). Sometimes it is said people dont have the right to call out the statues/whatever weaknesses. I would like to know why this is.
I'd like to call an example-
Sideshow is a professional 'Quality toy and collectible company'. My dad is a profession 'Oral health specialist' (dentist).
When my dad has to make, for instance, a fake tooth, he has to do as much as he can to get it perfect. If it doesnt fit, the colour is wrong, or a bunch of other things he tries again and again until it is perfect. When he cleans someones teeth, he has to clean the whole lot, not just the parts people can see. The point is my dad has to do almost perfect work on peoples teeth. Perfect work is almost expected of medical professionals.
I ask, why isnt it expected of other fields of profession? Just because it is not essential to life, doesnt mean they can do a half job of it. If a surgeon screwed up a surgery as much as the likliness of Aragorn, or plenty of other screw ups different collectible companys have made, the patient would probably be dead.
I just ask, why can't people critise when there is obvious room for improvement.

And for the record, I don't dislike the piece. I was impressed by it; it took me all of 5 seconds to decide to buy it. Not to add fuel to the fire, I did read some of the other threads and agree with the comments about the weathering/coloring. Do I expect Sideshow to improve on what they have? It would be nice, but not expected. But just in case, it's nice to be able to throw out an opinion just in case...if you're gonna throw out THAT much money, might as well nitpick a little ;)
