After four months in the mail I finally received my ?nailheads?.
The detail does a big difference.

Wow those do look great! They really add an extra level of detail to already amazing figures! Where did you order those nail heads?

Very nice Slik !

Do you reckon you could perhaps put a figure or something next to the next shot to get a better sense of scale.

That's so awesome !! The man is on a mission !

I have scaled it as a bit of a compromise between information I have found and received about the size. It?s a few percentages bigger than canon (depending how you measure the length) and a few percentages smaller than the Hasbro Black Series scaling. So I hope to have come close to whatever true scale is and to be able to squeeze in the two pilots.

Thanks for the pic.

Yeah it is a deceptively small vehicle when compared to other fighters say. So the scale always looks visually incorrect. To me at least.

But as long as it looks visually OK with figures in it, then that would be the most important thing to me.

Did you manage that with just the 2 pieces printed vertically I assume. Split line fit's in nicely to the panel lines.

Yes. If anything I believe it might be 2-4% bigger than true scale. Pretty sure it?s not smaller... not sure if anyone truly knows.
The top is printed in 4 pieces which is only doable with a 50x50x50cm and bigger printer. At the moment I?m printing the second out of 4 pieces of the bottom.
This is definitely not an easy print. It has a ton of details and there?s a ton of supports needed... glad it?s almost done.

Looking good Slikk - are you aiming for overall length (like from cannon tip to back) of a bit less than the 94cm that the BS 6" speeder scales up to in 1/6, but more than the almost 89cm for canon length in 1/6?

So like a bit over 92cm overall length?
