Here is what my Doc Ock turned out to look like. Very happy with him, he looks awesome in person. I may end up dirtying him up a bit, he's a bit too clean for me. But very happy so far.

Thanks. Not sure what you mean by covering them....I used tentacles from the McFarlane Matrix Sentinel, just painted them. Then I took off the ends and used sculpting putty to attach the Doc Ock ends from a $30 Doc Ock toy that I got off of Ebay. Looks really, really good in person. Some people don't care for the head, and that's ok. I didn't need it to be movie accurate, and this was IMO the best stock head around for this figure. I really like the long haired look of Doc Ock in the Ultimate Spidey cartoons that are currently on TV. If I had any confidence in my ability to sculpt hair, I might give that a try. But I'm pretty sure it would end up looking worse than it already does, so I chose to leave it.

Oh and I have a bunch of tentacles left over if anyone is thinking of doing this, let me know.

This is the Doc Ock toy where I got the ends of the tentacles that I used. They're much bigger, and articulated. They just look a lot better IMO:
