Not sure if anyone is familiar with this but its the best show on MTV and the real only reason to watch the station. It was originally a japanese tv game show.

*A team of 6 members will repeatedly draw cards to determine who must endure the "challenge". The teammate who unluckily draws the skull and cross bones card will have to complete the task at hand. Should the teammate fail or their friends make too much noise... they lose the money for that challenge. *

Here is a clip:

Much better quality: https://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/469624/balled-pedal.jhtml#id=1629355

I've seen the japanese version of this.

Is the clip above from the U.S. version? It could pass for the japanese version except the dudes in it are all fat.

I've seen it and it's not a bad show. Better than most of the stuff that they have on that station now.

Does MTV i.e. MUSIC Television still play music videos!?
They haven't shown videos on MTV since the mid-1990s or so (when I used to stay up late to listen to 120 Minutes and Alternative Nation). I remember when MTV2 first came out, and they apparently meant for it to actually show nothing but music at first. But. . .there was more money in Beavis and Butthead and Real World re-runs, I guess, and they eventually both transformed into channels that showed nothing but reality TV.

Then I guess the other MTV channels have music. I wouldnt know.
