I these Sideshow boxes long time. How refreshing it is to open the gatefold, and you can see exactly where what you need is. You get a little synopsis of the character and I just love it. Their armatures are crap but do they know how to package, yes they do.

Definetly. I miss it too. No TM logos everywhere and not the usual shoebox design. A return to this would be nice, I miss the character background and storytelling. Asmus are still doing that and not sure if any else do, sadly.

For Star Wars, I remember hearing that it was a Lucasfilm decision regarding the outer box designs, which is why Hot Toys does the same thing with the boring black boxes for Star Wars figures. Seems like Hot Toys is able to get away with adding an outer flap with character photos, since it is technically not a part of the box itself and can be removed.
