i think the only downside to this figure is how hard it must be to photograph... i just unpacked mine and was blown away... photos within this thread do not do this piece justice!

I love my Stormtrooper, however he is a bt floppy to say the least. Has anyone posted instructions or pics on how to strip him down and tighten his joints?

I bought some black and white adhesive-back velcro and will keep it safe until ready to display my stormies and then I'll add the velcro on both.

Yeah Id would like to tighten the ankle joint. Its really the culprit!
Whats up Bacca!

That would be an interesting idea to see if the new slender body would fit. I guess we'll find out when its released.

If it does I think I would be down to do that. The ankles are killing me man. I dont mind using a stand but not sure I would if he could stand on his own.

I learned that if you lean the torso forward a little and bend the knees a little as well, let the thigh armor pin against the crotch plate and it will help keep this bloody thing standing somewhat better and leaves it in a not bad battle pose.

Thanks Valfar. I did get him to stand but was just paranoid he would fall

It really is pretty damning if a 1:6 Stormtrooper can't stay up without the display stand.

He really isn't as stable as I'd like him to be... its not terrible and I can definitey get my Stormtrooper to hold a pose. But it takes longer to get him posed as joints tend to move while your posing other ones.

Glad I got him.

Floppy as Hell.

Now the heating, bending, velcroing, painting, gloss varnishing, screw tightening, generally making him how he should have come out of the box begins... sigh.:(

P.S. Yeah I know the Marmit Custom is missing some armour. One of those rainy day projects which you'd think being in England I'd have plenty of time for, LOL.:duh

P.P.S. Sorry it's a c****y out of focus picture. Note to self: Must try harder.
