I think it actually looks pretty great! I'm a little disappointed it doesn't come with a jacket, but that's minor. I think you're getting a decent amount of stuff for $230, especially when comparing it to X-Wing Luke for $240.
The face is...ok. I actually think it's closer in resemblance than the HT version. I just hope they can maintain the paint apps. I don't like how the waist is so skinny though. Gives him a very exaggerated (and wrong) silhouette.
It's definitely several steps up from their original release.

The key will be the Luke and Han Hoth figures that are coming next year. If those come out good and Sideshow abandoned the separate eye thing, then everything else moving forward should be fine.

I'm not that bothered by no jacket since chances are I wouldn't use it for this figure. The jacket-less look is iconic for TOD.
Although it would have been good to see a new attempt at a jacket, if anything just to replace it on the other Indys I have!
