Sideshow 1/6 Commander Wolffe

I picked up one of the neutral headsculpts for $20 to rip apart.
My thinking was that maybe i could remove the eye part, cast it and make several for the figure(Or upcoming figures), so you could paint a few sets up and use them like separate PERS units.
However, the make up of the eyes is such that the face is a thin skin, glued onto the hard white plastic frame the eyes are a part of. I was able to get the hair off but i don't suppose the face will come off in an easy manner or in a way that would allow it to pop back on...

I think the only thing that is a bit unfortunate with that hair being a separate piece is that they didn't find a way to eliminate the flash line going across the center of it....I was hoping it would have been cast in such a way as to not have that. Oh well.

Still like the figure a lot....been enjoying his appearances in those final CW episodes...

Great pic.
I loved the final eps of the CW show too.
I wish more of the show had tied into the previous movies like that.
But it was a fitting end.

Very cool figure! Be extremely careful with the damn shoulder antenna. I knew that it was fragile and still managed to break it. Little glue fixes it but still annoying.

I had the same thing happen with my Commander Cody. The antenna broke off in it's package before I even opened it.

Can anyone tell me how the joint articulation is? My Rex and Cody from a few years back was crappy and loose have the improved the sturdiness or tightness of it

The joints on mine were adequately tight.

That shoulder antenna is the only problem, it's super delicate, like others have said, I was aware of how delicate it was and took precautions and still broke it. Basically it'll break if you stare at it too hard lol

I was switching heads on my wolffe when I first got him and putting pressure while pushing down and avoiding the antenna was an absolute pain

Exactly right. Everything else about the figure is fantastic. That damn antenna is the only negative on the figure for me.

I know what you mean...he is really visually striking....can't resist changing up the pose all the time.

You want the smooth side of the bicep piece facing forward. Here's a pull back on my previous shot that shows what I mean...
