Hey Irish, great looking pets you have there. Murphy is an awesome
name for a cat. I also used to have a cat named Murphy, he passed
a long time ago now.
It's very good of you to take in Rocky, I think that more people should concider adopting a pet from a shelter as there are thousands of animals in need of a good home..
Kudos to you my friend......RIP Guinness

:exactly: Maglor's post is exactly what I would say.

It's amazing how we bond with our pets. One of our cats died over two
years ago and I still miss her.

I am very sorry about Guiness, Irish. :(:1-1:

My naming convention has been revealed! :duff

By the way, Rocky is short for Shamrock. So he has the Irish theme going, too. I named him that because he has 3 legs like a Shamrock has 3 petals. But he really is a "Rocky", because he's a boxer, an underdog, but ultimately a champ. :yess:

Thanks for the kind words, all.

Here's a recent pic of Coco. She's such a sweet, sweet girl. I'm lucky to have her.

And this is Rocky, an awesome 2 year old Boxer than I adopted from a rescue shelter last month. He has only 3 legs (he had to have surgery to remove one of his front legs do to an accident & neglect by his initial owners), but he is amazing. He's extremely intelligent, already house-broken, crate-trained and the nicest temperament you'll ever see in a dog. And he's also oblivious to his missing leg/arm... he gets around just fine. I love the dude, already my best friend. Happy and honored to give him a new chance at a good life:

My poor old Snoopy got hit by a car and lost one of her back legs. :( It never seemed to phase her, she got around just fine with three. It happened when she was 5-6 (before I was born) and she lived a long, happy life after the accident. I still miss her.

Rocky looks like a little beauty, good on ya for giving him a second chance! :duff

Here is Guinness. He passed away 3 months ago. :( He was 13 and the coolest, chillest cat ever:
