David Carl on sideshow. Offered to sell me a Hot Toys DOFP Wolverine with conifirming photos which were already pre existing photos used by active sellers on eBay in 2 different areas please see email screen harass by Mr David and then confirm eBay listings by other sellers. Beware of doing businesses with this guy. Then I asked where he was from and he said Los Angeles. However the photos he sent me to verify that it was his were from A seller in Illinois and a seller in South Korea LOL. Why in the heck are you going to tell me you have a figure I am looking for and that your in Los Angeles I ask you for photos and then youre gonna send me photos from other sellers on eBay????.... you sa your in L.A. calling from a Oklahoma phone number red flag total scammer. Mind you he wanted to communicate by email or a cell google subscriber phone. I felt that he was but wanted to see how far he would go for the ride ������.

Yep. Too many of these guys on here right now. I think there’s a thread started that has a running list of scammers in it. I’ve gotten similar messages with stolen images more than a few times.

Yeah he messaged me too, first red flag was that he couldn?t even send the right picture of the correct war machine I?m looking for. I?ve had about 3-4 scammers reach out all claiming they can only do F&F. This place is tiresome.

I posted an ad in the WTB section last week for a HT Sandtrooper and got a BUNCH of responses, which seemed odd for this figure. They all used the same types of broken English, odd choice of words, and they all seemed very pushy for me to buy. ex: sending multiple messages over a short period of time. One message was "Do you want to buy my toy". Reverse image search showed they were images taken from somewhere else, AND two of the supposed sellers attached photos from someone else's Sideshow Sandtrooper...The person also claimed to be in San Francisco, I'm guessing that was based on the fact that my info shows Los Angeles. I told him I was going up there for business, and we could meet in person just to see what he would say and he made a bunch of excuses and said I needed to send payment now to reserve it.
