Im going to order some Apoxie through inventory at my fathers hardware store. "sculpie III" worked well for me in getting my feet wet, but I want the real deal now!

To give you an idea of how little I know, I didn't realize that you don't have to bake apoxie. I could never figure out how you guys sculpted thin limbs, etc without demolishing figures. As soon as I get the Apoxie, I'm sculpting a bunch of chimp shoes and furry hand backs. Awesome!

Off topic queestion! Can anyone here tell me if they have a great 4 in 1 ink jet printer that is the best! I will need the brand and number. Thanks everyone, Kent.

Disregard the printer question, I found one. Here are two more conquest custom apes that I finished. Those are angels armbands! I really like how the ape shoes came out and the red devil jumpsuit and darker color yellow jumpsuit look fitting to the look of the movie version I think. I painted the tongues their jump colors and put some mock yellow socks on the orangutan to cover his ankles!

Love the activity here guys. Everytime I need inspiration and an escape I come here. Keep up the great work.

Here is an example of how I use Apoxie sculpt.

For those new, mix equal parts, shape and sculpt, allow to harden after a few hours. It doesn't require baking like Sculpey.

I tried to make some furry hands using Apoxie so I wouldn't want to have to risk damage to the hands by baking (see thumbnail).

You ever feel like you are being watched?

Holy Crap!!! That is awesome... amazing work on him :rock

Here's an upgrade I did to my Taylor figure last night. I was going for a "Forbidden Zone" look... although it wasn't until I was done I realized he needed a full beard. That's what I get just going purely off memory :lol

Still, happy with the end result. I ported him over to a HT body, weathered the outfit and repainted the head.

Cool! Im going to order some Apoxie tonight. It'll come in handy for hand backs and shoes. Do you usually just get white apoxie and paint it with acrylics?

Just waiting for the apoxie to arrive to sculpt furry handbacks, repaint the hands and I'm done. Which chimp character does he most resemble in the POTA world? I can't decide!

Stickman returns!!

Well, he's actually in the midst of moving across country but he sends his regards and says HI! to all. He is without a computer till he gets settled then hopes to be back amongst us.

The Rit dye job was a success! I dyed my Hasbro Zaius clothes, used an AA GI Joe figure I picked up at a collectors store, trimmed the Attar neck and filled the head with glue.
