That looks great! I want to take a stab at weathering. What supplies did you use and is there a tutorial online on how to properly apply the weathering?

Very nice! I'm gonna do the same + add some sort of caked on sand effect in places to my model kit shoretrooper, +a custom scarif base

i used black oil paint ,brush and towell or piece of cloth

First apllied the paint on the figure then wipe out excess paint thats all

There are some excellent weathering technique videos on YouTube. You should seriously check them out. Type weathering and a bunch of specific choices like figures will instantly pop up

Also, anyone know if the blu-ray that comes with the DT specialist will be region free with the english 5.1 audio track? I'll cancel my Best Buy steelbook order and just get this then. Where is this going to be available online - the usual hlj, amiami, etc.?

Japanese blu-rays are the same region as American. No problem there.

Another good type of weathering, if you want a sort of "dirt splash" or oil effect, o guess, is to use paint thats diluted to the point where it beads up, but not TOO much. You just apply it on and move it around

I've also got a technique for a sort of sandy look that I used on a Spiderman 3 sandman, it could look great in the scarif or sand troopers

Any news from NinNin? They emailed me a week ago saying Kylo was coming out in June. I told them they're mistaken and they haven't responded to my last 2 emails. Now I noticed that Unmasked Kylo has been in stock on NinNin for a couple days for over $100, but they still have not charged me or shipped my preorder. Really annoyed with their service so far.

edit- They finally responded. They said they have a "lot of orders" and will be shipping them chronologically. Don't know why they would put it in stock for purchase before they make sure they've got all their preorders figured out.

So Kylo Ren unmasked is at cheapest about $90, but ive seen it as high as $120. Man, as good as it is, that is a lot to spend on a 6 inch.

I hope they do a Rey. I have the Mafex Rey on PO, but really want SHF to make her.

You have to set up another account with Amazon Japan in order to buy from them. That's the only place I've seen it besides CDJapan.

Yes, you need to register with Amazon Japan. Make sure to use the link I provided. 3rd party sellers are selling it at inflated prices when you search in English. To find the lowest price you will need to search in Japanese. Good luck!

I have had mine on preorder since day 1 from MyKombini. They are usually pretty good, but I got an email today saying my preorder was 'pending replenishment' which seems odd since if I had a preorder, those should have been ordered ahead of time and fulfilled. Not sure what to think of that.
