70 a piece for 5 inch oddly proportioned figures seems crazy when you can get the 6 inch hasbro ones for about 35 for the pair...

The Hasbro 6 inch pair is good for the money, but by comparison to the figuarts, they look gummy and they have a holes sticking out on the joints. The figuarts are no hot toys by any means, but they are pretty sharp looking figures that are actually pretty close to 6 inches at 15.5cm. Most likely they'll also have diecast feet for better balance. For $35-$40 each at the import shops I think that's fair.

These two are still due for release in Japan only. Apparently Bandai only has the license for these figures in Japan and preorders were cancelled in other parts of Asia.

These two look like great hand crack and desk toys to fiddle with. The quality looks fantastic and about $40 shipped for each from Japan I couldn't refuse.

I keep checking around and it seems more like $80 each after shipping. Amiami and HLJ are currently out.

I preordered them both from https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/ when they first went up they both had a 25% off discount. Although they do have WM but its marked up.

Thanks for the link, I ordered a War Machine. Just waiting for them to send the paypal payment request. I ended up buying a Mark VI off ebay for $74. I knew once I got the War Machine in hand I'd have to have the Iron Man as well. I have never liked the Hasbro Mark VI, something about it really bugs me.

After ems shipping is factored in, I only overpaid about $15 for the iron man. Hobby search had a decent deal on war machine as it was.

Sorry for the crappy iPad pic, but my computer completely died on me last night so I can't upload pictures from my camera.

These guys are a hell of a lot of fun to pose and they do so extremely well. These are some of the nicest 6 inch figures I've ever owned, even nicer than Mafex Spidey and Batman. Really wish they'd make some more Iron Man figures, but I doubt it will happen since they're having licensing issues.
