I feel pretty confident that Vegeta’s family is likely descended from Yamoshi and later on took the “Vegeta” name much like most royal families throughout history have changed their name due to various reasons. Given the vegetable puns, “Vegeta” is the highest you can go essentially.

The British royal family used to be called something German like Saxe-Coburg and Gotha due to the family relations and such. Due to social pressure from WW1 and the negative perception on Germany, they actually then changed it to Windsor...but the family is primarily German in origin.

Great looking prototypes, all around!

Prodigy sold me on Majin Vegeta. I'm extremely ecstatic about it, especially since there's always a possibility with a damaged version and maybe more accurate hair sculpt. The body sculpt is more than I could have ever hoped.

Roshi is a little "thick" but I'm glad to see him shorter than Goku Black.

Loving Goku Black. Can't wait to get more releases from that story arc.

Kid Goku looks fantastic.

Frieza still looking great straight on.

Bulma is unbelievable. Talk about stepping right out of the drawing.

Gotenks, still don't like the head.

Frieza Saga Goku...completely out of left field by Tamashii. This has my hopes up for more Goku releases if they continue to look this stunning.

It's not going to be changed which is irritating me. Everything else I like about it though.

I know it's a Figuarts Zero but the Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks is freaking great. One of their best sculpts for Figuarts Zeroes. The face actually looks like Gotenks.

Tamashii will most likely release a Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks in the future though.

Have they ever changed a face on any figure in midstream? I don't recall at all. Everything looks the same from the first pics to in hand.

I hope we see DBS Trunks next year. I need the Spirit Bomb sword.

Why does Gotenks head suck so much ass. He's the only one that looks terrible. I'll still get him as always.

I don't like Gotenks at all. Based on any official picture or screenshot I look at of super gotenks, the legs are way off. And I'm also not digging the head either. It looks more like what gotenks would look like as a teenager... Gogeta is still one of my most wanted SHF figures and as a big fan of fusion I hate to say that i'm probably going to pass on gotenks if that is the final product. They can do better, and they should.

I'm still disappointed with Vegeta, but i'm going to get it anyway for fear that they won't make another like it. The hair sculpt reuse is a bummer, but the rest of the figure is great. Those arms!

And i'm definitely not going to sleep on the new base Goku like I did with Frieza... I seen it go up at HLJ and I decided to wait, now I check multiple times a day to see if they put it back up.

The DB figures look pretty good, but I'm likely going to pass on any DB releases. I'm gonna stick to DBZ and DBS for reasons of display space that I already don't have anymore of.

None that I can recall either.

Banpresto released a Super Saiyan Trunks with the Spirit Sword and it's freaking massive. Not sure how Tamashii is going to pull it off. Maybe Figuarts Zero might be the best option.

Yaaaaas. I would go for every character from that arc, especially Half-corrupted Fused Zamasu (not digging the Dragon Stars BAF that much) and Future Mai. FUTURE MAI!
