Anybody seen this which is suppose to be released in a couple of weeks? Reactions?????

I have two of the Rubies orcs - Moria and Lurtz that were lifesize busts from ten years ago and I am very happy with them.

If you go to the link and click on the Smaug it will take you to a seller with specs. I think it is 30 inches high by 25 inches wide by 15 inches deep - but check the specs just to make sure.

not bad, not an ECC bust but who the hell care as this will be like $79

Occasionally Rubies will put out a pretty cool product. I LOVE their Creature From the Black Lagoon Grave Walker. Not Sideshow quality, but for a close to 1:1 scale head sculpt with arms and shoulders for $89 it was money well spent.

I suspect you are correct as that is the composition of both my Moria ORc and Lurtz from LOTR a decade ago. The Moria orc is far better in the facial design and armor than the Lurtz is.

My thoughts exactly. I will wait for someone else to produce something similar. In the S&F somebody had said some time ago that Weta is preparing to launch a wall mounted busts series. I am not sure how credible this is, it would be cool though!
