So, starting with Padawan Obi-wan, and going through the most recent jedi release, Sideshow has adopted a newer style of lightsabers that looks ( to me, and several others) BAD. They're very reminiscent of the Hasbro and Medicom attempts. they also tend to droop given their increased weight.
The new blades on the lightsabers are Very large, and, to be blunt, rather derptastic looking.
One solution that has been done by several people already is simply buying older sideshow lightsabers and swapping the blades.
HOWEVER< some of those blades can be hard to find.
I'm seeking either Guidance, or looking for a talented customizer who wants to make some ( relatively) Easy money in producing replacement blades that match the older, thinner, tapered style that Sideshow and hot toys have used previously.
The blades from the existing hilts CAN be removed. All that is needed is someone with the knowhow to make new ones from colored acrlyic rods.
