I think this guy is going to get the axe. I wanted it because of the Jabba connection, and because it would sort of serve as a companion piece to the Jabba dio (which I'm definitely keeping). But money is tight right now and I've already got the Gentle Giant Rancor, which I really like. Say what you like about the static pose on the GG piece, I'll take a static full-body rancor over a rancor head and arm any day. Maybe I'll pick it up someday.

I don't have a Rancor in my collection yet (unless you count the Galactic Heroes one
) so I'm still leaning towards keeping the Exc. (definitely want to display him with the Gammorean Guard rather than Luke)... and I want to place him somewhere with my 1/6 growing Jabba display
I really don't want to cancel this dio... so I'll be waiting until the eleventh hour until I make that call.
You and me both Neil. Of what I have on order right now that's potential cancel items, the Jabba's palace related items are the ones I'd like least to have to chop.

Plus with this Rancor piece, I'd actually rather have it wielding the Gammy I think, which would mean having to get the Ex. version. I can live without the backdrop on the Vader-Obi-Wan duel dio, so if I cancel now and just snag that later it's no biggy.

I never even ordered that Vader-Obi-Wan duel dio as I felt that the two PF's were fine for already communicating that moment.
I just cancelled the KOTCS Exc. Indy (I'll grab the regular from my on-line Canadian supplier) but direct from SSC over the next month I've got:
CW Anakin Exc. (no way I'm cancelling)
the Luke vs. Rancor dio (no way I want to cancel)
Sandtrooper: Squad Leader (leaning towards cancelling)
and I'm still making flex payments on my Exc. Thrawn
If I don't have the cash (immediately) in my account I don't get it-- and the cost of heating slightly goes up here in the Great White North during the winter months so things get the axe. I'm really hoping that I don't have to axe this dio...
I guess I'll have to be the big winner at my weekly poker games for the next few weeks.
That I have to pay for, I've got notices for Rancor, ANH duel dio and Sandtrooper. Rancor's the only piece with an Ex. or a must have one, so that bumps it high up, plus I love Jabba's palace. I don't have the PFs so the dio is the best way to get that duel represented so nicely, but I'm not so attached to it or the Sandtrooper to not gamble picking them up later.

That's too bad, but I had to do the same. It didn't help that I just had to pay almost $350 to get our furnace fixed this morning. I still think this will probably be pretty easy to get later on. The exclusive will no doubt hold its value better than the regular, but I don't see it becoming hugely expensive.

Had to cancel the Exc. as well. But I've got to hold true to my earlier commitment of only getting items if the money is readily available in my account. No go for this one I'm afraid.

Yeah, I'm kind of hoping for that as well. I love the piece, but if I bought it now it would likely just sit in the closet.

I wish I could but I have to prioritize with the Indy vs. Mola Ram dio due soon and the Yoda with Clone Trooper PF on the immediate horizon.
