The piece is not a jaw-dropper I agree but I think the likeness is there, the pose is iconic and the base is cool. I like this PF and I am glad I got it, I would love to see a First Blood one too.

This is a piece of the eighties. For all of us the grew up watching Stallone, Arnie, Harrison Ford, This is a piece that you will enjoy.

FINALLY
my EX. has shipped on June, 11th:yess:

As much as I want to, I just can't pull the trigger on this one. Everytime I see this I can't help but think "too damn skinny".

I'm not expecting Rambo to be as muscular as the Hulk, but I do think he should look big & strong enough to hold up the gun he is firing. :lol

The body proportions look fine to me. Its just the expression they didnt get right.

I totaly agree, the body proportions are perfect, if you look the movie or movie-poster you see that the body looks fine. For me it`s a great statue, the stand is fine, the only not 100% perfect is the expression of his
face, but overall it`s a fine piece:)

My only real "gripe" with this PF is the lack of scars on his back. As we saw in First Blood, Rambo's back is even more scarred up than his front.

But unless someone decides to display this piece with its back to the viewer, it's a non-issue.

I'm still very happy that I bought it, and have absolutely no intention of selling it or putting it in storage. It's an iconic movie character, along with Indiana Jones, Jack Sparrow and the Terminator, and therefore fits in perfectly with my collection.

:goodpost:

I am with you on this, what's amazing is that every single collector that purchased it doesn't come off as thrilled to have it:horror and the pathetic excuses to make it better are comical, put dirt on it, repaint it, don't display it with the left side showing, It well look better if you place it on the bottom shelf of your display cabient. For $300 why would you want to go throw all of this:gah:

It's one thing to have buyer's remorse over something you bought and regretted, but that isn't the case here.

Personally, I have yet to call anything perfect. Be it movie, TV show, videogame or collectible, I can always find some areas where improvements could have been made. As I stated in a previous post, I'm not completely in love with the pose, but I'm still very happy with my purchase. But if you're expecting me to dance out in the streets as proof of my contentment over my purchase, then you're going to have a long wait.

I'd rather get a review from someone who's able to find fault with a property they enjoy, than some fanboy who categorizes everything as either "perfect" or "total crap".

I won this guy in the newsletter contest!! :rock :rock :rock

Think I'm gonna have to weather him up like in the last few pics. Pretty stoked about this as I'm a big fan of the Rambo flicks!!

Congrats Reefer!

I'd still like to buy him someday, I think it turned out ok. I'm a huge fan of the character. Still, with so many other great PFs coming in the future, I think I can pick Rambo up pretty cheap later.

Thanks Mr Staypuft! First time winning one of these contests, and what a nice surprise it was.

Nice video review Dinolast

i got mine today...not overly keen on it..but as a rambo stuff is few and far between i had to have it...it would have been better with the gun lowered abit and the head facing downwards...like the classic poster pose...
