I'll concur with that bit :)

Wonder if Netflix, Amazon or HBO would like to buy out the franchise :yess: (not that that'll happen) - as even a limited TV series by them would be cool :1-1: :bunnydanc

.

Is there an audience for a Predator series? Can't see how they'd work it without fully exposing the Predator every episode. The Emissary Pred idea that was cut from The Predator comes to mind...Yuck, no thanks!!!

I'm up for anything that helps keep the franchise alive.

One idea I'd had was showing various hunts by a common predator through the ages (inspired by the Dark Horse backstory on the Elder from P2). You could show how his skillsets & weapons (and tribe members?) got adapted through the years/decades/centuries.

Dark Horse have shown real ingenuity in some of their storylines - keeping something entertaining & surprising when things could have been quite predictable & boring. They've admittedly had their screw-ups too though :)

I like that idea. More like a series of short films. However I have no faith in those in power to execute any idea well.

Every time I watch "The Predator", I always stop watching right after the main guy showing his crew members' staff to his son and pretend the movie ends right there, ignoring "the outtakes" which comes later. Yes, the movie is bad but it can be mindless-popcorn-flick-fun sometiems after you ran out of movies to watch... at least it doesn't leave THAT bad taste in your mouth without that last scene.

At the very least, "The Predator" is not as bad as Terminator : Dark Fate. That one made every bad sequels in aliens & robots franchises in all these years ain't so bad anymore (for me).

Sorry my post will not be a critic of the film ... there are specialized sites for that ...
The first photos of the Life Size bust are arriving.

Looks good! The overspray on the brown dots looks obvious but I give them credit for trying to make them look blended in.

Paint has stepped down a bit from the proof, but still better than most applications these days.
Overall, looks great. Price has been holding me back a bit.

I think the downturn in the economy is going to send statue prices lower in the near future.
