Does anyone know what the depth of this statue will be? (Specifically the base) I'm trying to get a some sort of display organised for when it finally turns up! The height is on the sideshow website but nothing else.

I see the difference between the regular and exclusive (edition size and a 3rd head sculpt) but how come the price is the same at $899? I would think that the EX would cost more.

Absolutely, congrats! The more and more I look at it, the more I love this bats over the AK bats. I have them both on pre order, but this one is tops!

There's never been a price difference between EX and regular. Think of it as an early bird bonus.

Actually, there used to be a slight price difference between Ex and reg for Sideshow pieces, but that was many years ago.

^ Wow thanks for the great pics! It could be the lighting.. I think the suit is a light gray shade. Kinda of looks like a wet-to-drying-cement color. If that makes sense.

He looks insane! The cape is incredible.

It looks fine. The pose is just too silly to me. I dig everything else about it, from the portraits to the tattered cape.

I have been looking at Prime 1's mind-blowing work for the past few weeks (yeah I know, late to the party) and originally intended to wait for the Heath Ledger Joker to go up for pre-order. Favorite Batman character/interpretation, plus I have no affinity with the Arkham games (I know they are awesome, just never took the time).
Recently they announced that they were reworking the body on the HL Joker which is good news but also means it's not happening anytime soon, and in the meantime this Batman Noël had really been growing on me.

If I must own only one Batman representation it's definitely this one, I love everything about it. Probably the best Batman statue I have ever seen period. I pretty much only collect Star Wars (wish Prime 1 had the license...) but this incredible piece really seems worth a leap of faith. So... EX version pre-ordered!

Damn, that's intense! You're gonna need A LOT of room

I am a bit safer but I can tell that a lot of collectors are having the same issue, their upcoming releases are very appealing for sure and also so different from what we get most of the time, with that prototype grade quality and beautiful realism. Plus they seem hard at work and very passionate, you can tell it's not gonna stop.
That's why I really, really wish they had a SW license, we need this kind of stuff, especially with Sideshow being quite slow and offering little variety as of late. The high end statue game for SW fans is somewhat limited. That would, however, make me much less safe from owning several P1 statues

Height is not really a parameter for scale, just one of many factors. The DC PFs pedestals are (sometimes ridicolously) high, and that's comparing a fully erected figure to a slightly hunched one.
As much as people love to delude themselves, the original Batman PF is not 1:4 scale but bigger, the simple comparison with other JL members highlights this fact but people come up with the most creative excuses anyway. Not sure why since a difference in scale shouldn't impact on one's love for a statue.
