Got my replacement angry head sculpt from Prime 1 today...good to go. Resolved in less than 30 days...very nice. Didn't even have to dispose of the scratched one either.

Good news.

I've found that if the replacement part isn't provided via Sideshow, they're less likely to request you destroy a piece etc.

Yes, I noticed that too. I think the paint job overall is slightly different.

I wonder if these heads might be from the Prestige version production run...no big deal, they look great and they fit the statue just fine.

The left has a lot more gray in it, the right more black.

Here's a shot of the replacement angry head & the original battle damaged head. The original normal head is packed away for safe keeping...just in case.
Don't have the original angry head any more...that thing sold fast. So did the BR sculpt.
The angry head is the one I wanted from the bust set & the BD head has a slightly better paint app than the original one that came with the statue.
I like the new angry head...the glossier finish brings out the texture of the cowl, matches well with the shoulder armor & the facial paint apps are a little better.
The pic is straight off my Galaxy 7. I biased the iris off the faces so as not to influence the black levels. I left it at full rez so you can open it in a new tab and get a close look at them.
