It looks way better in those pictures, wonky head markings aside. I'm excited to get mine now. Also he posted a size comparison. He put the head from this next to the head from the 1/4 Cracked tusk, the City Hunters head is actually bigger! So worries about this being tiny can be relaxed happily.

Here's that head comparison:

Looking forward to this. I ordered an EX direct from P1S. Wondering how long I?ll have to wait for mine here in the US.

looks good but not perfect at all, the infinity one is more accurate and paint is better. A bit disappointed by prime 1 on this one,a bit afraid also for the jungle hunter... wait and see

I must admit, I'm not 100% thrilled with the color choices when comparing to the prototype. But when looking at this on its own, I think it's the best mass-produced City Hunter statue out there, tied of course with the Infinity version. Both have different strengths and weaknesses, winds up being a wash for me.

I just wish it were closer to what was advertised because the metallics were out of this world. I look forward to receiving mine, but may end up parting with it in time - especially if the Jungle Hunter puts it to shame. We'll see.

EDIT: For those interested, it should be a pretty easy custom job to touch up the lower mandibles, mouth interior, and armor surfaces. A beginner can get a solid fade just by drybrushing, provided they do it lightly and gradually. An experienced customizer could even apply a subtle wash to the whole body and bring out the skin texture. Ideally you wouldn't have to do this on a high-end statue, but it's a far better starting point than Sideshow's $1200 maquette from a few years back.

Thanks again for taking the time to share all these pics.

I'm still gonna pass on this. Seems great, and the only thing that still niggles me (along with the still-unclear scale) is the head-on shot of the bio mask - looks pretty dodgy - and I'd want to display this with the mask ON (even though I really like the unmasked portrait).

I always preferred the P2 from Infinity Studios, so it looks like that'll keep me happy for larger scale P2 statues going forward.

Glad you folks who ordered seem to be (mostly) pleased with it though.

globally the prime 1 piece looks great especially for the price but really some details of the unmasked head looks weird to me: the paint scheme on the forehead, the paint inside the mouth , the eyes. i don't know. The only thing the infinity one needs is a third layer of dark red brown and it would have been perfect. Really hope Prime 1 will not miss the jungle as it's almost twice the price of this one

It's a neat looking statue but something is missing with the paint job, the predator looks too 'clean'. I think the colour lacks a little depth and richness, even in the unmasked portrait. Maybe the colours would look better in low lighting. Not a fan of the lower mandibles.

Still good overall but imo a little step down from the fugitive predator.

When I was originally comparing this to the IS one, I imagined getting this to display with the mask and IS unmasked. I need to seem more pics of this with the mask on. It looks very unnatural with the mask on. Almost like a bobblehead. The unmasked head looks good for being mass-produced.

That looks pretty good. I think a bit much on the mouth veins but tbh for a 1/4 scale that looks pretty nice. It could have used. One more layer of some minor finishing touches but it's impressive still.IMG_20210418_181017.jpg
