PHICEN : 1/6th scale Frank Frazetta’s Death Dealer Action Figure

Item number: PL2015-95
Bar code: 0711978601471

Character Introduction:

A massive 50 ft wall of stone and wrought iron that separated a land of evil and the unholy was constructed by an ancient civilization thousands of years ago. No one knows exactly when it was built, but its intent was to keep the evil that lurks within separate from the good and holy outside its perimeters.

Behind this wall are thousands of acres of swamp and mountain ranges that are forbidden to be visited by mankind; anyone who entered was never heard from again. An ancient tribe spoke of a demonic figure that lived among the dead. He was called The Death Dealer. He had eyes of fire, and was the embodiment of darkness.

During the time of the Norsemen around 1200 A.D., there was a kingdom miles from the gated entrance to this evil place. It was ruled by a powerful king named Jaro, who feared no man and used this land as a sacrificial place to deal with men that committed brutal and violent crimes; if one would be found guilty of murder, they would be sentenced to the Bad Lands, left behind the towering walls, never to be seen again.

The land inside the walls were not to be visited by those who were good and lawful, and everyone knew that if they crossed over into the Death Dealer's domain they would never return. The Death Dealer rode atop a large, black horse, and would execute any who visited this place with one fell swoop of his axe. He was even so powerful that he had an army of the living dead at his command.

The Death Dealer stands enormous, draped with a chain-link skirt, a dark cloak, and a horned helmet. His eyes burn like fire and no one is certain of his origin. It is told that he is as old as time itself.

I like the figure and would probably get. I would really like to see a completely fitted horse to compliment the figure.

I have always liked Death Dealer but there is something off about the figure. I just can't figure out what it is.

Perhaps the overly narrow lower body. The Death Dealer should have quads and calves like Arnold Schwarzenegger. He looks too much like a light bulb with his sister's shoe-size in these photos. The Kaustic Plastik Heroik figure body would round out this figure much better. I will probably end up doing a head and equipmment transplant if I get this one.

There are elements of this figure I like such as the weapons and some of the armor. Not crazy about the helmet or the fabric chain mail. Been said but overall its just too clean, and I think that is what is really throwing the entire look off. Maybe a good option for those that missed out on shocktrooper's offering a while back.

this body looks stronger than recently made nude body. i wonder if it's just an illusion.

This going to be an instant for me. Once in hand I'll see if it needs threea-Esk weathering if it would benefit it then it will be applied but I am not going to miss the opportunity to have Frazetta's death dealer on my Fantasy shelf in my cabinet. It will look so good and menacing next to the Threezero GOT and the Asmus LOTR!

I received my Death Dealer figure today. I was very worried about the rubber body, but this actually feels very sturdy and holds a pose extremely well. I was going to immediately switch everything to a plastic body, but after seeing this in-hand, I might actually leave it as is.

I haven't assembled the figure yet since I'm at work, but so far, it seems great.

Death Dealer has been one of my holy grail figures for a long time (I've started a custom version about three or four different times over the past few years, but never got very far). I can't wait to get him kitted up. I'll put him next to my Asmus Ringwraiths.
